Valentine’s Digital Marketing Campaign for Azafran

The Challenge

Azafran is a leading organic skin care brand. Since they sell niche products, particularly popular among the elite segment, they wanted to spread the word about the products and the benefits, and also wished to show how they are different from all the other organic skin care products available in the market.

The Innovation

We ran a Valentine’s contest for them on Facebook. The idea behind the contest was to make people fall in love with the brand and express how the products took care of their skin. People were asked to write ‘love letters’ for the products of Azafran. Everyday a new product was showcased and people were asked to write a love letter for it. After all, a valentine is touted to be loving and caring isn’t it? #BeMyValentineAzafran and #iloveyouazafran were used in the contest that garnered attention to the brand. Concept: Date your skin and gift it what it deserves We also wrote a special blog on ‘Gift your skin some organic love this Valentine’s Day’ for their customers.

Execution

The strategy involved multi-targeting on skin websites, Google display ads, GIF ads, keyword targeting, custom landing page, blog and emailers.

The Outcome

The contest witnessed enthusiastic participation and engagement with the brand. It resulted in more likes and comments on their Facebook page and increased the sale of Azafran products. It made the brand stand out as a sorted organic skin care brand with a loyal fan base.
